RCMP investigates Break and Enter with Violence

FLEET SETTLEMENT – The Guysborough County RCMP’s Sherbrooke detachment is investigating a robbery with violence in Fleet Settlement.

At 6:35 p.m. on August 21, a man armed with a knife entered a woman’s home on Fleet Settlement Road. A brief struggle ensued and the woman ran from the home unharmed. The man stole an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the residence.

Guysborough County RCMP’s Sherbrooke detachment and Pictou County District RCMP, as well as the RCMP Police Dog Services, responded and searched the area but could not locate the man.

The man is described as a white 5-foot-4 male with a thin build, a deep voice, and a brownish-red goatee in a single braid approximately four inches long. At the time of the break and enter, the man was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, blue jeans, and black gloves.
